The sun will be invisible to you today, but I guess you won't feel so lonely without your family. This concert must have been a secret journey, but you didn't give us too much information.
We all stand next tou you, and that's not fot peanuts, 'cause we couldn't stand loosing you.

Although you weren't born in the 50s, still you witnessed them, walking on the moon.
As used to say miss Gradenko, whose teaching, I know are wrapped around your finger “Truth hits everybody”.

I hope you will not drive us to tears and that you will tell us more about this trio'cause everything they do is magic.

Love to you,

Andy Stewart Sumners

Patrick-

I love ya since I knew ya, I wouldn't talk down to ya…I have to tell you just how I feel…There's a hole in Life.  I'm walking in your footsteps to have tea in the Sahara with you.  And let's just say you make the best of what's still around with every breath you take…  Okay enough of that.  : )  Good times…

It was a tremendous show.  Sting still goes for the high notes and his vocal quality was superb.  I feel very fortunate as the sound at Dodger Stadium was excellent.  I heard it was a little muddy at Staples Center a couple nights earlier.

Stewart Copeland, my God, man that guy is amazing to watch and hear.  He just ripped, endlessly.  Summers was right on too.  Such a great sound…

There was a little wanking from Andy on Wrapped Around Your Finger that made Sting flub a verse but it was fun to see giants mis-step.  They smiled at each other.  Even the mistakes were flawless.  LOL!  (Can you tell I'm a fan!!)  Heck, it's been twenty years after all.

They did very cool arrangements too.  Sometimes starting slow and down a tone or two and  then jump up to the original key and speed up to their old punk rock pace.   Did I mention Stewart Copeland is a God.  And that yoga deal is working for Sting, let me tell ya.  I'd boink 'im, he looked so good.  In Walking On The Moon they did this bass jam section and it was just a full on rip-groove.  Too much friggin' fun for sure.  Stewart would go up behind his kit and play this incredible percussion menagerie that sounded so…ah, no words.  It was brilliant.  What can I say they're all consummate musicians.  Just awing.

Okay I better quit as I'm getting drool on my keyboard.

Oh yeah, I even had cognitions about some things while rocking out.  Things formed in my youth surrounding impressions made by the music from age 16 to 23 when The Police were together.  Nothing I could explain, but suffice to say, it was a SOUL-FULL experience.  ; )

I gotta go take a mega load of vitamin C and some B's for this rocked out, beer-filled, Jah-ladden, dance weary mortal coil of mine.  That pagan worship will wear you out, baby!

Get thee to a Starbuck's.  LOL!  Thanks Patrick, Soulbro.

Oh Rod, this sounds so amazing.

I know exactly what you're talking about. It's rock, but very sacred! A connection to our old selves, a breaking of our boundaries, a group catharsis around music. And so actual, in the moment.

It's funny, I can just picture it.

“pagan worship” ! you said the word. How true.

Love to you, yes soulbro!
